Labels

Columbia Records Legacy Recordings
Columbia unquestionably has the best reissue program, not only for country but for everything in their vaults. The music is great, prices unbelievably low, plus good packaging and liner notes. It's no accident that such a large percentage of the recommendations on the site are Columbia.

Rhino Records
The most prominent reissue label in the United States. They don't have a big selection of country, but everything they have is first-class.

Razor and Tie Records
Another excellent reissue label. The have a great line of George Jones, among others.

Arhoolie Records
Quirky roots label that occasionally releases old country stuff.

Bear Family Records
Germany's Bear Family is the undisputed king or box set reissues. Their reissues are very, very expensive but always worth it if you have the cash.
